HEARTBREAK

When a heart breaks it tends to shatter

The cause this time

doesn’t really matter

When it shatters it shatters

Nothing else ever matters.

We go through the motions 

And little by little 

We care less and less. 

Heart in pieces

I’m alive but dead.
